Members of our school community are important in supporting our students. Your experience and expertise can help guide our students to make important decisions about future study and career paths.

Your experience and expertise can help guide our students to make important decisions about what to study and which career path to choose. We have three events coming up which we are looking for volunteers to attend. 

Laws Careers Networking Evening Career Speed Networking: Wednesday 21 January 2026, 6:45 – 8:00pm - The Bramston Library, St Swithun's School

This is an event dedicated to legal careers where professionals can share their insights and advice with aspiring current students.

U5 Medical Society Dinner: Tuesday 27 January 2026, 7:00 - 9:00 pm - St Swithun's School Dining Hall

We invite doctors and medical professionals to join our U5 Medical Society group for an evening of networking and discussion. This event will offer students the opportunity to learn firsthand about diverse medical career paths and experiences.

Mock Interview Evening: Thursday 05 March 2026, 5:00 – 7:00pm - The Bramston Library, St Swithun's School

Help our L6 students practice their interview skills through realistic mock interviews across various disciplines.

We are also seeking volunteers to engage with and support St Swithun’s students through the following opportunities, both in-person and online:

  • Career Networking Events
  • Interview Preparation
  • Business Setup or Operation Guidance
  • Delivering Talks
  • Mentoring
  • Career Portfolio Articles
  • Offering Work Experience
