Last week, we were delighted to welcome members from the school council, Bramston Foundation trustees and valued supporters to mark a significant milestone: the 'topping out' of the new indoor courts.
Clad in high-visibility vests, guests gathered to celebrate the completion of the building's frame and structure which was marked by the unveiling of a Bramston Foundation and St Swithun's marker on the mezzanine floor.
The occasion was further celebrated by speeches from Mr Riley, Mrs McClure, the Mayor of Winchester, Emeritus Professor Natalie Lee and Ms Gandee who each spoke about the transformative potential of this facility, not only for sport and provision at St Swithun's, but for the wider partnerships and community across Winchester.
We extend our sincere thanks to James Fanstone of Doe Sport (North) Ltd for the comprehensive site tour.
Thank you to all who joined us!
