We were delighted to welcome back former students and staff from such a wide range of year groups for our annual Old Girls' Day in September. A beautiful sunny morning with the excitement of Super Saturday provided the perfect backdrop for class reunions of 2018, 2013, 1998 and 1973.
After catching up with old friends over breakfast in High House Garden, student led tours of the school gave our alumnae ample opportunity to reminisce over their school days and discover what's new at St Swithun's.
Our guests enjoyed some nostalgia with an exhibition from the archives in the new Jill Isaac Study Centre. Much laughter came from flicking through old school magazines and spotting themselves and classmates in school photographs.
To round off the day in the spirit of Super Saturday, P.E. teacher, Asha Riley recruited a brave few former students (and their families) to practice their stick skills in a lacrosse workshop.
We are already starting to plan Old Girls' Day 2024 and would love to hear any ideas and feedback.
