Aline wins award...

Aline Dobbie née Rose (HC 1962) has been awarded the Art & Culture Award from The Indian Awards for 2019 for her promotion of India through her writing.

Aline has written four books on India with a fifth coming out.  She also promotes Greece through her writing.

She says, "After Covid-19 and the exit from lock-down, the hope is that tourism will once again be successful as so many millions depend on the income from tourism globally.  I shall do whatever I can to help it get started again.  I do what I can to promote various small NGOs that operate within India to help children and wildlife."

Aline currently lives in south Scotland and her big sons have families of their own.
