We are looking for volunteers who could spare a little time regularly to help us find stories within our archive. St Swithun’s has an interesting 139 year history and we have an archive full of items from most of that period. As a team with many daily priorities, it is challenging for us to find the time to organise, categorise and search the archive to understand exactly what we have within it. Therefore, we would be keen to find volunteers who would be willing to help with this.

We are not looking for any specific time-commitment or prior knowledge, just an interest in the history of the school and good organisational skills to help us further knock the archive into logical shape, in terms of record keeping.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy being involved with, please get in touch with Olivia at oga@stswithuns.com or via 01962 835782.
