Firewalk in Support of the Bramston Foundation's Building Active Lives at St Swithun's

On 5 March, two members of our own staff community will take on an impressive challenge in support of the Bramston Foundation's Building Active Lives at St Swithun's campaign. Our Director of sport, Mr Jon Riley, and Prep Head of Sport, Mrs Kat Shoesmith, will walk barefoot across burning hot coals in a Firewalk to raise funds for the Foundation.

This is no small feat. It is a powerful demonstration of commitment from colleagues who live and breathe the values of sport, courage and wellbeing every day. Mr Riley and Mrs Shoesmith are showing just how strongly they believe in the impact this project will have on current and future students, as well as the wider community.

Their challenge mirrors the ambition of Building Active Lives at St Swithun’s itself: a two-phase capital development to create the superb indoor sports facilities our school now needs to fully realise our vision for every student to have a positive and purposeful journey of active wellbeing for life.

As a school community, and if you are able to do so, we warmly invite you to support Mr Riley and Mrs Shoesmith as they take on this challenge in aid of a project that will make a lasting difference to all: https://superkind.org/campaign/st-swithuns-school-bramston-foundation-firewalk-in-support-of-building-active-lives-at-st-swithuns.
