OGA Ambassadors

The Old Girls’ Association relies on the support of many St Swithun’s alumnae who volunteer their time to help with the annual calendar of activities. We call these kind OGs our OGA Ambassadors.

They share their expertise and give us their advice and time…all things we are hugely grateful for.

We are looking for at least two OGA Ambassadors to represent each leaving class.

Here is an overview of the OGA Ambassador Volunteer Job Description:

• Representing the OGA and welcoming members to events at St Swithun’s or elsewhere in the UK / overseas, or online
• Supporting the administration of events, such as the production of delegate badges and marking off attendees on entry to events
• Helping to serve teas / drinks at events
• General mingling at events and helping to introduce members to each other
• Offering advice and guidance to the development and alumnae department
• Offering to establish and/or manage a distinct OGA club - such as a sporting or musical club
