Craig Kirkham-Wilson of Simmons and Simmons’s insights on tax law intrigued both potential lawyers and keen economists. Our students gained a valuable understanding of what is involved in studying for a law degree with Dr Julian Dobson of Winchester University, and enjoyed heated discussions on legal ethics during Mrs Emma Marsh’s interactive talk on being a magistrate. To support these talks, Mr Dixon arranged a careers speed-dating session that saw 40 students gleaning tips from legal professionals. Many thanks to the parents and members of our community involved.
