Celebrating Volunteer's Week

As we celebrate Volunteer’s Week, we want to shine a spotlight on some of the individuals who make our community so special.

A huge thank you to Roberta Brockman (Chew), former student and President of the 1884 Legacy Society. Roberta leads the Legacy Society with great enthusiasm, often sharing how the quality of education and experiences she gained at St Swithun’s shaped her lifelong core values of caritas, humilitas, and sinceritas. These values inspire her belief in giving back to future generations of girls and women.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bramston Bursary Foundation committee members and volunteers. Your campaigning and fundraising efforts have enabled students from often complex and disadvantaged backgrounds to receive fully funded boarding places at St Swithun’s. Your dedication is changing young lives. We would love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering for the BBF – please do get in touch via development@stswithuns.com

Lastly, a thank you to the Senior School Parents’ Association (SSPA) and the Prep School Parent's Association (PTA). Both chairs and committee members work tirelessly throughout the year to create opportunities for parents to connect, share experiences, and form lifelong friendships. From ice-cream and coffee catch-up to quiz nights, we are truly grateful for your continued support.
