We have now reached the number of required volunteers for this event. Please do look out for future opportunities as we would love for you to help out.
Our networking events provide St Swithun's students with opportunities to talk with a range of professionals on an informal basis and gain insight into different careers.
The session (on Thursday, 16 March, 19:00 - 20:00) aims to get our students inspired and excited about future career possibilities in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) field. In previous sessions we have run, the students have gained a greater understanding of different career opportunites. A number of girls are interested in STEM and so they would particularly benefit from hearing from those who work in the field. These sessions are broken down into 10-minute slots allowing the students to talk to parents and former students to explore career options, get some practical tips on the next steps and practice that all important skill of networking.
We would be very grateful for offers of voluntary support from our St Swithun's community. If you work in STEM and would like to help personally - or have a colleague who may be able to help, please click the button to sign up.
Thank you.
