The Professional Guidance Department is delighted to welcome Pippa Bonney, OG, (HA 2017), who will be presenting a virtual talk which is open to our state school and community partners, as well as the whole St Swithun's community.
Studying Physiotherapy in Cardiff
Pippa Bonney (Biography):
Pippa is a third year physiotherapy student at Cardiff University. She joined St Swithuns as a full boarder in Hyde Abbey in 2013 and stayed until finishing her A-levels in 2017. Pippa then took a year out to travel and work in New Zealand before going to university. As part of her application process she attended three very different interviews which she will be happy to touch on during her talk. Additionally, she will discuss how studying physiotherapy differs from other courses at university (e.g. contact hours, compulsory placements) and some of her favourite things about being a student in Cardiff.
