The Professional Guidance Department is delighted to welcome Caitlyn Bower, OG (ED 2017), who will be presenting a virtual talk which is open to our state school and community partners, as well as the whole St Swithun's community.
English Literature and Creative Writing, University of East Anglia and Southampton
Caitlyn Bowyer (Biography):
After leaving St Swithun's, Caitlyn completed the first two years of her English Literature & Creative Writing degree at the University of East Anglia, before transferring to the University of Winchester for her final year. During that time, she started working as a musician, performing over 300 shows around the UK with band Slackrr, multiple appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival, and coverage from the BBC, Kerrang! and multiple other stations. After graduating with a 2:1 in 2020, she has now recently started an MA Creative Writing course at the University of Southampton, and also works as a private tutor.
