Over the past year many fundraising events to benefit the Bramston Bursary Foundation have needed to be postponed, held virtually or cancelled. We remain undaunted in our mission as a charity to provide life changing boarding places to girls in or on the edge of care. We are thrilled therefore, to announce that we will be launching an online auction with bidding opening on Thursday 17 June and culminating on Friday 2 July.
We are appealing for auction prizes from our parents, students, Old Girl’s and the wider community. In an effort to be as creative and as fun as possible, have you developed a new skill or discovered your inner artist or baking talents during lock down? Here are some varied ideas to get you thinking and help us to achieve our goals:

The Bramston Bursary Foundation is currently working with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Virtual School and College for Children in Care, to help identify girls who could flourish at St Swithun’s. We are also working in partnership with Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation and Buttle UK to identify girls who are currently living with parents or family members, but in challenging circumstances and who may be on the edge of going into care.
We have also recently formed a relationship with a London based charity to try and help a particular girl. It is imperative that we continue to drive our fundraising efforts providing a life changing education at St. Swithuns.
If you think you might be able to donate a prize or would like to learn more about helping the Bramston Bursary Foundation, please contact Veryan: verehodgev@stswithuns.com / 01962 835734.
