We are delighted to be welcoming historian, professional speaker and author Sandy Leong, as an external speaker on the 10th May 2017.
As a specialist in early modern and British Viking history, Sandy is passionate about bringing history to life and enjoys focusing on the elements that do not usually get into mainstream history books.
Sandy’s talk, entitled Hey Diddle Diddle, will consider the history and meaning of popular nursery rhymes many of which have dramatic and hidden meanings and which give us a commentary on the political events of the past.
She will be talking in Harvey Hall at 7pm on Wednesday 10th May 2017. Refreshments will be available in the foyer from 6.30pm. You are warmly invited to join us to hear what promises to be a lively, entertaining and informative talk.
If you would like to attend please reserve your seats by e-mailing: oga@stswithuns.com . There is no charge for this event but, as our lecture series is always very popular, please reply as soon as possible as numbers are limited.
