|Bramston Bursary Foundation|
Just before Christmas, St Swithun’s was contacted by a charity, which was trying to find a boarding school place for a girl who was in desperate need of stability and security.
With sincere thanks to a small number of extremely generous Bramston Bursary Foundation supporters, enough money was raised to cover school fees and extras such as school uniform, educational trips and extra-curricular activities for a couple of years. We were therefore absolutely thrilled to welcome this new student to St Swithun’s in 2021.
Joining St Swithun’s is a truly life changing opportunity for this girl and we are delighted to welcome her into our school community.
We would normally try and raise all the money needed for a girl’s entire education at St Swithun’s, prior to offering a place. However in this case, we needed to move very quickly to help this girl. In order for her to continue her education at St Swithun’s, we need to continue to fundraise.
If you would like to play your part in changing this girl’s life, please join the 1884 CLUB. All members of the CLUB donate £18.84 every month, every quarter, or just once a year - the frequency is entirely up to you. Joining is very easy, just a few clicks on our online form, which you can find here.
Thank you for your support.
